View Full Version : New Versions - Split Screen Online and System Link

I have to know if there is going to be split screen online for the new versions of the game, and if so, how many players? I have seen a lot of new info out there, any word on this would be appreciated. I don't want to get excited for the new versions of the game, only to get let down like last time. If the Xbox 360 version doesn't support four player split screen online and system link, I'm going to laugh. There is no way that it can't handle it.

I have been looking all over the web for answers to this, but have not found them. I don't think I'm only one who is looking for these features in the new games, but I am getting doubtful that they will be implemented. How can developers not see the importance of this? I would sacrifice graphics for more multiplayer functionality anyday. Far Cry: Instincts Predator is quickly becoming one the most visually stunning games...that I'll never play. At least there is GRAW I guess.

It's a valid question, one that I wish more games offered. Lots of people like doing system-link parties at their friends' houses.

I agree...I'd also like to see split-screen capability in System link and Live. My friends and I game together often, and we would definately play FCI if it had this capability. Since the current game does not, we have passed it up. Very disappointing since the online gameplay is great!

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gifI highly agree with the Live splitscreen. Offline splitscreen is boring, due to lack of players for the huge maps. 2 players at least would be fine, and for the 360 Farcry, I don't think it should be a problem due to more space than the original Farcry for Xbox. It will enrich the multiplayer for the series more.
