LordTenacious suggested it I did it. Half the threads on here are about what weapons we want to see in EndWar so...What kind of guns, weapon systems, and different weapons do you want to see in EndWar and more specifically what army do you want to see equiped with them?

For the U.S. all the weapons we get in GRAW2 especially the HK 416 and the FN SCAR for spec ops. The XM8 for regular U.S. infantry.

Well, the Russians with a more user-friendly version of the AN-94 would be nice.
I'd like to see at least some American units using the FN SCAR; and the HK 416.
I don't really know much about which weapons the Europeans are using, but the FN F2000 looks like a good gun.

For Euro Air force: some Eurofighters, Rafale's, Sea Harriers.

Land Forces: well every special force could use their weapon of selection. Marine Recon MP5, French paratroopers their crossbows, and for standard militia the good old AK47, and maybe a Dragunov for sniper shooting, since there are a whole bunch of them, out there...

I heard somewhere that in the game the Euroenforcers are going to use microwave weapons. It's strange cause I though the US were developing those...

I think it was the U.S. who are getting the mircowave weapons I pretty sure I read that but it could be the Europeanans but I don't know for sure. I can't wait to see the F-22's and F-35's and to see how air support is intergrated into gameplay.

I am pretty sure russian army will either have a new high tech Ak or the new gun that looks like an ak but i forgot the name i think its called the AN-94 or something like that.

Now if we could only get this stickied for a month or two...

Oh mod powers on other forums, how I miss you so.

It would be kind of cool to see the regular US infantry carry the Barrett M468. Pretty cool gun that has been developed as a potential M16/M4 replacement (or at least an upgrade, anyway). The SCAR series definitely has to be available as well.

No, in an IGN interview, it's mentioned that the Europeans get microwave weapons better known as the Active Denial System. In a video interview M. De Plater says they also get lasers both ground and space based. I'm all for each side having their special niche weapons, however UBISOFT is assigning all the US weapons leads to the Europeans. If they wanted to assign the Europeans some cool stuff they could have assigned them UCAVS, precision guided deep bunker busters and electronic warfare systems. These are areas that I've been following over a number of years in which it would appear Europeans have a lead, NOT lasers, or other directed energy weapons.

We have the THEL, the tactical high energy laser that has proven in several tests to have shot down mortar rounds, rockets and artillery shells. The Active Denial System works.

Yea, I think its weird that they gave those to the Euros knowing that America has put alot of research and devoloment into those certian technologies, either way it will be interesting to see them used.

I will say that Canada's defense companies produce some pretty good NICHE weapons such as ADATS, I would not go so far as to use your language of "seeing how MUCH" US equipment is a carbon copy of Canadian weapons and bad ones at that. Again I say: http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Ok, I don't know much about foreign small arms, however having been in the military and fired both the M4 and M16A2, they are quite prone to jams unless kept meticulously clean, so you won't get an argument from me there.

How about missile technologies, robotics, armor, sensors, directed energy weapons, even the field of battlefield prosthetics such as this: http://media.popularmechanics.com/images/bionic-arm-0707.jpg

yes thats true but that has also been forseen with the c7 and was prevented in which the c7 is almost as durable as the AK 47 look on wikipedia for colt canadian c7

ARMOURED PATROL VEHICLE (APV)

The Armoured Patrol Vehicle (APV) is a 4 x 4 wheeled armoured patrol vehicle designed to provide a high level of protection for troops while they conduct patrol, command and liaison, and reconnaissance tasks in complex urban and mountainous terrain.

Dudes both the C7 and M16 are manufactured by COLT! So no one's copying anyone. Please don't turn this into "my country's weapons are better than yours" flame war.

lol Good idea. While I am a patriotic Canadian, our equipment is no more effective or well-designed than that of the US. The latest version of the Humvee is just as safe as our APV, and vice-versa.
