Sorry maybe should'nt have posted that on this forum, but since my last visit everything has changed, I'm getting a totally diffrent layout and colours to the forums, with seperate links to different boards for each game.

Help, I'm getting confused, this is not easy for a half centenarian with failing eyesight.

Onwards and upwards.

You are right about the forums being different. It happened just a day or so ago. You should be on the Riven forum and hopefully you will get some Riven help there.

Riven is all linked together. Visiting the islands is a good thing to do but then you need to find out what is on each island and how it all works to lead to the ending.

There you are Hadleigh...I was hoping you would find us. If you link to the "Myst Forums" you will see an over view of the new Exile forum which will show we are now divided into the 3 games and the Hangout. That's what BobF meant by posting in the Riven forum.

We're all kind of new to this format so we're all trying to master navigation around here so patience is the keyword. Riven isn't the game I remember best because I didn't keep my notes, I just remember certain areas of supreme frustration.

So find the forum and all the Riven experts will be of better help...and you can't say I didn't warn you about Riven...it's a difficult game with many things that seem minor but are of major importance.

Language, what language! Your name makes me think UK, but Oz and NZ are always still a possibility. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif The joys of being USian...I can play dumb. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for the info about the new set up, I thought I was getting an older version.

Now I where to post to get some help, but hey I've had a little bit of success on village island, I've sussed out how to open the mouth of the dragon?? and get to the spinning dome.

One small step in the quest for completion, but one giant leap in renewed enthusiasm. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

PS: sorry for any inappropriate language http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif (UK)

Your language wasn't all that bad, at least in USian English. Since the forum is international, we're all getting pretty good at understanding variations between all the English speaking countries. When I'm in a mood I'll also spell realize as realise and humor as humour. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
