DVD question

I heard that they are selling the game on DVD only. Is this true? And if so, where do I check to see if I have a DVD drive? (I dont know much about computer stuff)

Hi, Yes the game is DVD only, to check if you have got a DVD drive in most windows products i.e win 98,xp click start,settings,control panel. Then go to the system icon usually near the end of the list double click on it to open it,click on the hardware tab if it has one or other wise click on the Device manager, this will then show you all the gear in your computer. look down the list till you see DVD/CD-ROM drives prob 4th one down list, open it, it will display the type of drive you have something like :- TOSHIBA DVD-ROM FD-N4532 or TOSHIBA CD-ROM SD-R6543

Ah ok, thanks for the info. Looks like I dont have a DVD drive, so I'm guessing that I have to get a DVD drive for my pc to play the game? Or is there a way around it?

go withan Internal DVD I am using a 16x/48x Lite On DVD Drive it works fine so take these specs 16x/48x to the pc store and the guy there should be able to sell you a DVD that is as good or better .. (Faster) so will work with this game and others in future. Best way to learn pcs is to jump right in if ya have the time assuming your running xp dont pay em to put it in your pc you do it with a pc buddy watching you. .. Its worth the DVD I think ..
