Okay, so I've beaten Double Agent a grand total of about 6 times. Love the replay value. But I keep getting the same ending over and over again, in which that Splinter Cell/sniper guy shoots and kills Enriqa, Fisher mourns her and then lays in the snow waiting to slit that guy's throat, and then after doing that, he uses his knife to cut the subdermal implant from his head, and then tells Williams that he is going to be hiding so that nobody can find him.
Is this the best possible ending? Kinda disappointing IMHO, even though i am a noob on this board. I've looked on the internet for clues such as going back into previous missions and making difference choices than before, and also trying to diffuse different combinations of the bombs in the 2nd JBA stage, and I keep getting that same ending and I don't really think it's the best possible one...
...Is there is a different ending I can achieve somehow? Anyone help me out please? Remember, I have the Gamecube version of the game.
Also... what is Sam's overall agenda in Conviction? I'd like to know. From what I've read, all he is really trying to do is run from and avoid all the government agents that are swarming the place looking for him -- but through a whole game? I'd like to know what Sam's focus is in this game, what's he trying to accomplish here? Is he really abandoning 3rd Echelon? Does this game tie up the ending to Double Agent? I get the very sad feeling that Ubi is trying to wrap this story line up so that there won't be any more Splinter Cell games... :-(
Thanks!
