I'm constantly getting crashes on the 4th mission, called Hell's Corner, where it starts off in an open field. After 10 min of playing, everything freezes and I can't even get to my desktop (alt tab doesn't work).

I even tried ubi's tech support, and after logging in, they say they are having "difficulties". . . great.

I have the latest patch, 1.02, and the latest drivers. Here are my specs:

Edm203
Athlon XP 2400+
Gigabyte GA-7VTXE Motherboard (Via KT266A AGPset)
Radeon 9600 (non-pro) 128mb w/ Catalyst 5.10 drivers
640mb DDR ram
Creative Sound Blaster Live Value
40GB Seagate Harddrive
Windows XP Home

I imagine you are saved at that point and everytime you go to run the game again and start that chapter it does that..

How about cpu cooling? having any issues with that?

did the other chapters run fine?

do anything to your system recently?

The other chapters ran ok. One of them caused it to freeze up but that usually happens every now and then.

My PC doesn't have any special cooling equipment, just the stock fans and heatsinks. BUT, I am not overclocking anything.

Try the 4.12 drivers - They run 9xxx Radeons more stable and the 5.6 cats onwards tend to run cards a bit hotter. I have a XP2400 on a KT266A chipset board with 9700 and have no crashes.

Where do I get older drivers?
