May I welcome you to your all new Off Topic Forum

As you may recall not very long ago we gathered some comments from you all on the current structure of the forums. Taking into account your comments and feedback as well as how you all use the forums we have decided on some alterations which begin today with this your all new Off Topic forum.

From herein can you all please post any discussion outside of the realms of any of the IL2 Maddox Games within this forum

I appreciate it may take a little getting used to at first but we are confident once all the alterations are made the forums will be much easier to use for old and new comers alike. There will be an initial transition period as off topic discussions previously placed in the general discussion forums are moved so your patience would be much appreciated.

Apart from there I think there is only one thing left to say....

I have a feeling that the "General Discussion" waterfall of topics will peeter out to a trickle now, only to move here.

Quick question though. Should posts concerning WWII aviation operational history (squadron history, battles, aircraft operation, etc.) be posted in GD or the Pilot's Lounge?

It seems to me that since IL-2 is a WWII aviation sim the historical aspect has as much to do with playing the game as the game mechanics. Thoughts?
