I'll start.

Radio controlled helicopter (Raptor 30 V2)

hunting (All edible critters, all weapons)

gun collecting (Mostly historical/military)

Wife claims getting on her nerves. (More of a pastime than a hobby in my opinion,but,one of my favorites) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Stated mine on my profile, for registered member eyes only...I don't know why anyone else doesn't take two minutes to fill out their profiles, considering the amount of time some seem to put into posting crap.

As far as my hobbies though the list is as follows:
Computers - started tinkering with them, now taking some AP classes and working on my Cisco and Net+ Certifications to get a (better) job and (more) of that green stuff that comes with it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Cars - not really super specific on this one but my favorite has definatly got to be my own http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Hunting/weapons/outdoors - own a few guns myself and always love going out into nature

Being with friends - who doesn't like this? Never object to going out with the friends (guys or girls) for a fun time and lots of laughs.

Well, when the weather is warm enough you'll find me on the golf course. When winter comes a calling I'm in front of my computer keeping an eye on you guys. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Don't have em like I once did, but I did pull out my metal detectors last week. I use to hunt Civil War sites, etc...mostly a relic hunter.

Hunt maybe twice a year, once lived in the woods all season.

And now back to posting crap... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Well I filled out my profile when I joined this forum - just checked it - nothing altered.

Hobbies: Computer games (BF3 at the moment) and music composition and recording (using my keyboard and computer of course.)

A dabble in a little bit of painting landscapes sometimes;

Things I would like to have as hobbies if I could afford it or physically do it:

A boat like swamprats (that's just the type I'd like) - it's a beauty;
Therefore followed by fishing and crabbing from said boat; (There is a species of crab in these waters called a mud crab - in creeks actually - which is better to eat than any other seafood including lobsterhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Wouldn't mind joining a gun club but too expensive and the Laws are different in this country (used to have a couple of weapons but had to hand them in); http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
Getting a motor home and driving the country as a grey nomad;
Chasing after wild women (can't do physically - they won't run slow enough - and I am sure my wife would not let me).

When i have time off i usually spend it with friends drinking, fishing or going to pubs/clubs. Sometimes we even combine the 3!

If I'm not hanging out with that lot I'll usually be fiddling with a computer, which i build and overclock as a hobby, or I'll be reading/writing books.

Oh, and every now and then I'll play video games =p

I also spend a huge amount of time away with work, which warrants a mention. Just got back from 4 months in Darwin.

Edit: Music! I listen to a lot of music!

I guess one persons crap is another persons treasure. How could I see a picture of swamps beauty of a boat by looking at his profile. And peoples interests change with time. Updating profiles does not seem to be high on my list, and to my own disgrace, not even on my mind. I was hoping, and delighted, to see people go into a little more detail about their hobbies.(something else that is not in a profile)

As far as crap goes, when I see an Off Topic thread that I have no interest in reading, I don't even look at it, much less take the time to post an opinion on it's validity or content.

Thanks to all who have responded positively, and I hope more fellow skippers share. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I used to really be into B&W photography. I have a well-kept Nikon FM and several very nice "older" manual focus Nikkor lenses. I still try to shoot a couple rolls now and then but it has become more expensive and harder to find good processing.

I have a hybrid-road/mountain bike I ride quite a bit on the local trails, at least when my gout is not acting up. I love to watch racing of any type (cars, sailboats, horses, you name it). Used to shoot competitive darts, but I developed a strange hitch in my toss, almost overnight, and completely lost my rhythm. Strangest thing.

Also have a collection of diecast race cars, all 1/43, mainly famous F1 and Indy drivers I've followed over the years.

My response was positive, I said, I stated my (interests/hobbies) in my profile. That's why I posted, so if someone wanted to know them, look at my profile.
I enjoy O/T's, I didn't say I didn't like the crap, I'm just saying that it doesn't take much time to print a few words on a profile......ffs

I've got a friend who had a similar problem, in the end he spent a bit of time converting a shed into a darkroom and began doing it himself. It's a amazing hobby once it's all set up http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Collecting militaria, WW2 and Vietnam war mostly.

Guns...my Dad and I got into this. He was in it long before I was (born) and got me into it. Purchased my first rifle at 10 with birthday money, it was an M1 Garand that I sitll have. My worst* year I bought 16 different guns...*depends on how you look at it..money wise or habit wise*

Driving- I love going on trips, especially to places I've never driven before. With fuel prices the way they are though, I've limited myself.

Coaching baseball. I've posted pictures here before. I played into college and now I enjoy helping the youngins learn it too.

Playing boss to a 6,500 member forum.

Working...I like my job, very rewarding.

Getting backinto the National Guard and likely going to Officers Candidate School prior to an upcoming deployment.

It was actually darkroom classes that got me interested in black and white. I was shooting a lot of color slides with a full auto SLR. After taking a B&W darkroom class I became a "old school" convert.

There are some community/public darkroom facilities around here, at the local career centers and such. Kind of a hit-or-miss experience, but they work in a pinch.
