Need help with "Holding on" PS2

I'm having a really hard time with this level. Does anyone have any tips on how to beat this one? Thanks

Follow the soldier to the house and stay there. Take cover inside the door way and stick it out.You'll need to take out a handful of enemy soldiers coming from the left near the tree and directly infront of you. Eventually you'll successd to the next level fh

I've not had good luck in the doorway. There is a small hill to the right of the house (if you're looking out from the house). I go there first and lay down on the side of the hill closest to the house...taking aim at the first building you passed. That way you can snipe them as they come around either corner.

This mission is a pain in the arrse! Still can't do it.

You only have to hold out for 10 minutes (seems much longer I know) so I went to the right of the building where you and the pilot start out (he disappears into a building to hide). Then I laid prone behind the bush and up against the right side of the building and I could pick enemies off directly ahead as they rounded the front of the 2nd building, as they came through the door of the 2nd building, and as they came from the left. You have to be patient but they will come for you, then you just have to be quick and pick them off.
