My review of the CK Cereals
Frosted Flakes:
This is one of my favorite cereals by far. I love the texture of corn flakes in my mouth, and even when the cereal becomes soggy, the sweetness picks up from there. Either way, it’s good for the entire life of the bowl. And when the bread part of the bowl is gone, the milk is sweet enough to tolerate by itself, since I hate plain milk.
Cereal Score 9/10

Apple Jacks:
This cereal has the word “Apple” on the box, so I would expect something like apple. I was sadly mistaken. It tasted something vaguely like cinnamon, and it wasn’t even a pleasant cinnamon flavor. The flavor got old really fast, as I could not stomach even half a bowl.
Cereal Score 3/10

Cocoa Pebbles:
This cereal is much better than its fruity counterpart. It tastes exactly like it advertises. The chocolaty taste filled my mouth, and I was not disappointed, because the flavor only got old on my second helping. This is one of the better cereals I have tried.
Cereal Score 8/10

Raisin Bran:
This cereal is up there with frosted flakes, and is good until the last flake. Even when soggy, the raisins keep texture and some sweetness. I had to count off points, because it did not sweeten the milk enough for me to drink it alone, after the cereal was gone. It certainly is a good breakfast food.
Cereal Score 7/10

Honeycomb:
I love this cereal. It’s sweet, and even tastes good without milk. The flavor doesn’t get old, and it sweetens the milk for solo consumption long after the hexagonal corn puffs are gone. However, the cereal loses appeal when soggy, as the puffs feel like soggy white bread. If it wasn’t for that, it would get a perfect score.
Cereal Score 8/10

Total:
I would rate this cereal like raisin bran without the raisins, since it has some of the same qualities. That is, if every bite didn’t taste like it was laced with medicine. In the attempt to enrich my breakfast meal with 100% daily value of every possible vitamin and mineral, it left the slight taste of a crushed up centrum vitamin tablet in my mouth.
Cereal Score 4/10

Cookie Crisp:
This cereal is supposed to taste like cookies, but sadly it does not. However, the taste isn’t unpleasant. The cereal bits even taste good when soaked with milk, and the milk also gets sweetened enough for the solo drink. The texture is also interesting, if not entertaining.
Cereal Score 8/10

Kix:
The box says “Kid tested, Mother approved”, but the kids who tested it must have not had taste buds. The cereal tastes almost like nothing. The only redeeming quality is the texture, but even that is gone when it gets soggy.
Cereal Score 2/10

Smacks:
I buy this cereal on regular basis. The texture is just right, and it’s still good when soggy. It’s pretty sweet though, but a lot of it transfers to the milk. This makes the cereal perfect, and the milk is also good for the solo gulp after the cereal is gone. This is one of my favorite cereals.
Cereal Score 9/10

Special K:
This cereal is decent, and I am also a fan of flakes cereals. It doesn’t much of a taste, but the texture is pretty good. The texture is gone when the cereal gets soggy, though. This is a decent cereal.
Cereal Score 5/10

Trix:
This cereal tastes a lot like froot loops, but with a different shape. The cereal bits are shaped like fruit, but they do not taste anything like fruit. However, the taste is pleasant, while the texture lasts.
Cereal Score 7/10

BooBerry:
Is this cereal supposed to taste like blueberries? Who knows. What it does taste like is utter ****.
Cereal Score 1/10
__________________________________________
Frankenberry:
I have the same dislike for all cereals that are supposed to taste like “berries”. This cereal tastes just a tad better than booberry.
Cereal Score 2/10
__________________________________________
Corn Flakes:
This cereal is like Frosted Flakes, but without the frosting. The cereal is pretty good for an unsweetened flaked cereal, and it doesn’t taste like medicine. Which is a big plus compared to Total.
Cereal Score: 6/10

Lucky Charms
Two words, Cornpuffs and marshmallows. These two food items were made for a breakfast meal. The puffs are perfect when new or soggy, and when they get soggy, the marshmallows take over. This cereal is perfect with or without milk. It stays good until the last morsel and sweetens the milk for afterdrink. This cereal is a homerun, and gets a perfect score.
Cereal Score 10/10
