16th December Xbox Live MP Info - PLEASE READ

There appears to be some confusion about the promised announcement tomorrow (December 16th) with some speculating that it will be a demo release on Xbox Live

To clarify......

We have no official information to reveal about the Splinter Cell Conviction demo at this time, and that includes release dates.

The information set to be revealed tomorrow centres on the multiplayer aspect of the game.

OK a few things?
Is it so hard to understand that they will just explain a few things about the multiplayer?

Every where i look, i see people talking about that only europe will get multiplayer?

where the hell did you guy's hear that?
Infiltration mode as far as i know is not a multiplayer function.

Why? you can see in the new vid that hes killing npc. so we can pretty much asume that it ain't multi.

wich also means that the usa and the rest of the world will proberly get multiplayer.
How do we find out?

I kinda knew there wasn't going to be a demo, but some really long look-ins to the multiplayer modes and developer interviews about the modes will be sufficient enough to make me happy, as long as they don't continue to hide anything since it's supposed to be a REVEAL!

It is now showing up for me in the Spotlight section of the Xbox Dashboard.

I understand peoples frustration with this but I view it as they already talked about the single player, now they are releasing the co-op, next they will release info on multiplayer.

Just a Co-op video...Well can't complain because it looks good, but if Ubi is announcing a reveal of Multiplayer info, they should at least specify it as the Co-op Campaign mode instead of the general Multiplayer...I think most of us were waiting on information about Deniable Ops modes such as Hunter, Infiltration, Last Stand, and Face Off. This is nice to see but was expecting more...

i can only think of 2 reasons why ubi would hide vs mode.

1) because there is no vs mode

1) Marketing Strategy...Making people wait just makes it a more anticipated game
2) Still in Works...Still working on it, if it is in the game...

"De nieuwe multiplayermodus in Splinter Cell: Conviction heet Deniable Ops en bevat vier onderliggende onderdelen: Hunter, Infiltration, Last Stand en Face Off. "

The new multiplayer modes in splintercell conviction are called Deniable Ops.
and it contatins 4 diffirent sections.
hunter,infiltration,last stand,face of

hunter: kill every npc in the game
infiltration : the same but without beeing spotted
last stand: a nuclear warhead has to be protected against upcoming waves of enemies.
face off: players will fight each other and other npc.

It's definatly look like no Vs mode, however this would be the first SC game to come without MP except the original. Just wait till feb and see whats what. fingers crossed. I'll be dissapointed if there isn't SvM but theres not alot you can do about it.

Maybe the "faceoff mode" will be like the Spies Versus Mercs(except with interspersed AI)?
