Hmmm. Interesting. I'm US, and thus, not as able to participate. It would be nice if they did something like that over XBox LIVE and we could make donations via the dashboard. I don't know if there's already something of the sorts, but I think this sort of thing would be better publicized on LIVE. I'd love to be able to help charity and play a game I like.

This is a fun charity for a good cause being organised by the community not Ubisoft. If you guys want to feedback on the game there are plenty of places to do it you really do not need to hyjack yet another thread.

You must realize that any energy spent on stuff like tournaments and not on fixing this game will draw the kind of posts you are complaining about.
One action you can take to help is point out to your higher ups whenever a post like this for a worthy cause, is overshadowed by people's fustration with the brokeness of this game. Now if your performance rating is tied to how efective this threads are, that should be more motivation to push for a fix, as opposed to attempting to quite the voices of the community you are suuposed to be liasing with

I would sign up but I do not live in Europe so that would create some problems that I would rather not deal with. I also am not a big fan of A&D in Vegas 2.

It's still YOUR GAME.. I bet you.. haha.. oh my..They all get Disc read erros, and their XBOX just crashed and forces to restart. Oh my, wouldn't that be such a heart breaker for the little ones.. gosh, maybe you should of fixed your game first, before you let the Public use your game in a tourny.
Ya, thats a good idea.

You guys need to focus on how to get your message across about problems in this game. I ensure you posting about the need for patches in this thread is the wrong place to post. This thread is about a tournament organised by community sites for fun and to help some good causes. If you cant get onboard with that then just dont post in this thread. If you do then the only people you are harming are community members like yourselfs.

I can't believe that Klean is sitting here telling us about a really great oppurtunity for us UK and EU games to not only have fun playing Vegas, but also to help out some important charities and all you ********s have to say is "Fix the bugs!" It actually enraged me to read that first guy who says "No-one cares" and from what demographic are you drawing this fact buddy? Excuse my French, but either keep it on topic or go and post in one of the other million or so *****ing threads on this forum.
It's a great idea, if I wasn't working, my whole clan would attend. I wish everyone participating the best of luck!

To all who continue to polute threads with your "fix this...fix that" bull****. I hope you never get a working game. You are obviously NOT mature enough to play this game since you are obviously NOT mature enough to use the proper channels for your complaints. You're selfish enough to post your issues in every thread on the forum and interrupt conversations of other members. Your ramblings are not an attack on UBI, it's an attack on the other members here. The people who frequent these forums looking for game info-content. We don't want to hear your whining, we're sick of it. Grow up, get a friggin' life, take the game back, jump off a cliff and we'll all like you that much more!!
Yeah, I too would like to see someting in the US. Should be a good time. Low prize value keeps the ringers away!

It is yes, although that is because the community sites organising it are Xbox360 sites http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

At Gaming4others all of our tourneys are for Charity and all are open to anyone in the world with an XBL account. We have teams that register and play every tournament. They don't do it for prizes...they do it to do some good. And frankly a lot of them do it for practice in a tournament setting.
Involving only the UK was a call buy the sponsor of this particular tournament and we honor that. We are excited to be working with them on this.
I can understand complaints about the game. There isn't a game on all of XBL that DOESNT have complaints. But I am honestly surprised that winning and prizes are the only thing being worried about so early on. If there are problems, they are problems for everyone playing so you are all on the same level.
Updates will surely come...but for now play for the kids and have fun. Thats is what it's for. =]

You know, the only piece of information I can't seem to find is when the event will actually take place. All it says is when you have to have signed up, not when to be online... unless I'm having a blonde moment.

If you follow through the link it gives full details on the rules including when the first fixtures will be online and the window teams have to organise their games for that first fixture http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
However I can confirm the first fixtures go online on 17th with teams needing to play them between the following Monday - Thursday reporting scores by the end of Thursday, each stage there after for the event duration will have the same play window http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

This is a great idea and one myself and friends will be entering as soon as we work which 4 want to be together...
one question: As we are allowed one sub, is it a hot sub, so if someone is having a nightmare in the first round we can whip them out...

Yep thats fine, you get one sub per match so yes if one player is having connection issues you can switch them, just be aware it is a strict one sub per match rule so once you make that sub you cannot bring in another later if issues start for someone else http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Wow, exactly what I was thinking, countless times I've seen "US Only" on certain comps or any other stuff, your nation is being left out from one thing, I'm sure it'll be back in the lime light in about 10 minutes, live with it.
Sad, it's j-j-j-just s-ssad. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif
Oh and also, this Comp looks pretty good, might get my clan to take part in this, keep up the good work community staff. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

As I live in the U.S., I will just commend all of you people that are participating for playing an amazing game for a great cause. Hopefully someone will do this again in the U.S. And all of you people complaining about problems, seriously get a life and find somewhere else to complain about your personal problems with the game. If just one of you said it didn't work in a calm way, maybe someone would actually listen to you instead of just telling you to shut up like me.
