Alcohol 120% Question!!1

Ok, I recieved a reply to one of my posts about my RVS error on another forum and it involved Alcohol 120% and virtual drives. I use this program to create/burn backup CD's, but I do not use it for this game. I do though, have 2 virtual drives installed. Do those extra 2 "fake" drives cause my problem by chance?

Also I only have a DVD-RW and CD-RW drive and in the past I have used the DVD-RW drive to install and the game has worked fine. At the same time I have also had Alcohol installed so I don't really understand how or if any of those 2 items could be my problem.

Does anyone have anything to say about RW drives and virtual drives?

Yes, both issues cause problems with RvS and more so with Athena Sword.

so the solution would be to uninstall the programs that installed those virtual drives?

yes uninstall alcohol 120% then install RvS and AS and patches as normal the game will run fine

i had this problem too and this fixed it

i wouldnt reinstall alcohol 120% since when i did it the game came up with these errors agian

UPDATE: I just tried completely removing Alcohol 120% along w/ RVS and AS. I reinstalled RVS and AS and I still have the same problem http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif I dunno what to do now, this sucks!
