when I click the icon on my desktop it asks me to insert the original cd.

up to now I've spent about 2 hours searching this forum and it's been able to fix everything I've encountered. sadly, I'm stuck on this part.

Make sure you don't have any emulation programs installed.(Daemon-tools, Alcohool120%, Image Drive, etc (anything that can create a vitrual cd-rom)).
Make sure you don't have programs like curerom, gamejackal etc.
If it still doesn't work after uninstalling them i guess there are 2 solutions.
1 to replace the disc as it hay have conflicts with tour dvd-rom/cd-rom
2 use a crack :|.

I can't uninstall them because this computer belongs to my dad and I don't have my own.

I found some help on another site and found a crack. it also include an mds file and said to mount it with daemon tools and this came up
