I installed Hawx on my pc and when the game first started it ran fine, but the next time i tried to play i ran into all sorts of problems. When you get to the sceen where you select your'e aircraft in the campain it scrolls uncontrollably. The only way to stop it is to move my joystick to the right. When you get to the game play you cannot control the aircraft. It keeps rolling to the right. It does this configured with keyboard or joystick. My pc meets or exceeds all the requirements and im using CH fighterstick, throttle and rudders.

The last time something like this happened to me it was because the game or Windows had picked my rudder pedals as the first controller.

Disconnect your pedals and your joystick should work perfectly....except for the deadzone of course!! The game doesnt recognise two controllers at the same time, you can alledgeably remap the controls to get it to work, but i couldnt get it to work.

Yes, this may be a temp solution but the premise doesn't make sense. If it were true that the game doesn't recognize/like two controllers at the same time, then you'd have to remove ANY USB input device except for your stick. That would mean even USB keyboards need to be removed as they can be used as controllers too.

OK, slight rephrase then...the game doesnt recognise BOTH of THESE controllers at the same time. Its to do with the naming of the axis on both controllers!

I just bought the game and updated it to 1.01, but my joystick (Saitek Cyborg EVO Force) doesnt seem to work correctly. The plane is contstantly rolling to the left when centred.
I already test my joystick and it works perfectly on FSX incl. the forcefeedback.
Does H.A.W.X. has a forcefeedback function?
Please anyone who know's how to fix this issue, hekp me with it. Now I am unable to play the game.

do you have rudder pedals plugged in?
If so read the above posts.
If not, try remapping your rudder controls to something different ingame and see if that works
One of my mates has got the Evo and another has the Evo Force, Me I've got a x52pro. None of us have any problems except the deadzone issue. Some people have found removing the Saitek Drivers for the joysticks and using the default drivers in windows works for them, I've got SST installed and use it, but both of my mates don't.Neither of them use the saitek drivers and yet i do.
A word of advice for when you finally get it working, to help remove some of the deadzone, go into the Saitek control panel, click on the Deadzone Tab, Move the outside sliders for X and Y Axis's in abut two tabs, then try the game and then fine tune to suit your own tastes. Obviously try the standard settings first so you can feel for yourself the dreaded deadzone, you will probably find on normal settings that the joystick will move almost 50% of its travel before control input is noticed! This doesnt fix the problem just helps make it a little better when you need finer control.
Hope this helps!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I have the same problem with the jets YAW just moving to the right uncontrollable. So I read above and I am using a Logitec Pro Racing wheele for another game and when I unhooked the pedals it stopped the problem. Dosent do it for any other games just HAWX.
