This only started happening yesterday and I have zero ping. And I was wondering why I have zero ping. I can't see anyone and whenver I should it seems that it always hit my teammates, don't know why. Any explanations would be appreciated.

Is this your own server you are talking about? If not, do you have "allow incoming echo request" enabled on your firewall??

Just a guess but check your net speed setting. While in a server bring down the console (~) and type stat net. See if you netspeed setting is "normal". That would be somewhere between 4000 and 10000 usually. Depending on your type of connection. If it is not type "netspeed xxxx" where xxxx is some number between 4000 and 10000.
You might also want to check what you have your connection set to in the multiplayer screen. Try changing it and changing it back. This is the samething as netspeed but only at certain intervals (ie selecting cable will set netspeed to 4000, T1 sets it to 10000). People have personal preferences on what is the best setting. Note that the netspeed setting is directly tied to capping your framerate. So for instance if you were getting 80 fps in single player but then select 56k dial up, the game will cap your fps at 29 while online. (If i remember correctly). This is done to attempt to create "smoother" gameplay.
You may also want to check if you have any firewall enable. Be it WinXP firewall, zone alarm, or a physical router. Certain ports need to be open and selecting "Discard ping from Wan" setting in a router will cause your ping to show 1000. Same thing is your ISP blocks pings in an effort to thwart viruses and trojans.
I'm betting its the former.
Good Luck

This started happening to me also recently. I have my netspeed set to 20000, don't know if that's doing it. I'm using 1.41
What works for me is this:
go into your options in the game, choose HUD and whatever you have your display first person weapon set to in the HUD, select the opposite, i.e. off=change to on, on=change to off. Then go back to the game and it should fix it.
You might have to dissconect from the server, change it then come back in if it doesn't work the first time.
Once you change it you can usually change it back to what you had and have no problems.
Hope this helps
