http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif it cannot be today i played the settlers again after having not played it for about 2 months. so i started th egame. a downlaod started probably the patch for the map editor so when it was over ( it didnt actually work) everything was gone. i was so far and now everything gone what happened did someone have the same prboelem. i just wanted to paly it but i really do not want to repeat missions 1 and 2. are tehres ome cheats for skipping mission sor unlocking all of them pls tell me. thx

How come you never updated when you first got the game?
The first patch, 1.1 was released on September 27th 2007,when the game launched, and was NOT compatible with saves from an unpatched game, due to added game features.
Patch 1.2 was released on October 31st 2007 and contained the game editor and various bug fixes.
A hotfix to patch 1.2 was released on November 2nd 2007 and was merely an online connection fix
Patch 1.3 was released on 11th December 2007 and included bug fixes, editor improvements and additions to online.
Your original saves may well be still in the original folder, but to play them you would have to save the folder where they are stored to another location, uninstall the game, re-install, replace the saved game folder in the correct location, and NOT PATCH the game.
