PS3 Far Cry 2 Frank Bilders Glitch!

In the mission when you have to help Frank Bilders when he is getting attacked, then you supposedly have to go talk to him, well there is a glitch! When you go talk to him the hand symbol shows up but when you hit the button nothing happens!

Please help!!!!!

Im at the exact same spot - I went into the cabin on the top floor and his voiceover began but when I left the room it ended. I restarted my PS3 and its still at the same spot.

UBI please put out a patch for this - I really don't feel like starting over in the game - especially if I'm just going to get to this point all over again.

Please respond if you have experienced this glitch - UBIsoft should know how many people can not play this game because of it.

I am putting on my coat and going to back to Best Buy - let me know when its fixed.

Hmmm, never happened to me, i managed to finish the game without getting 'stuck" anywhere.

I hope you have saved not long before that mission, or you'll have to spend many hours to reach the mission again.

Same dang frakka frakka problem! Been playing this stupid game for days and even going back to saves nothing works - still the same glitch. It seems like the guy's supposed to be in his cabin but he's on the deck below it. Voice over in the cabin, but can't interact with him when you go downstairs. You can't even hurt him or kill him. Nothing makes me madder than investing so much time into a game you can't complete, and no way am I starting over again - I don't have days and days to throw away. This seems like such a major problem that the team SHOULD have a patch out within a day if they're worth anything at all. Thing is, patch comes out in a day or maybe even two and fixes it, fine, I'll survive. Otherwise I'll steer clear of Ubi games henceforth. C'mon guys, I mean how did this thing even get to publication??

I had the same glitch yesterday. Reloaded the game several times but the glitch remained. Frank was standing on the deck of the barge and even though an icon was present for talking to him, it was impossible to talk to him and complete the quest.
Then i tried a different approach. Instead of driving to the Marina ( when escaping the town ), i ran down to the bus station at the docks and took the bus to the Marina. It was day when i took the bus but it was night when i arrived at the bus stop next to the Marina.
I then went down to the Marina and this time, Frank was not standing on the deck of the barge but on the bridge where he is supposed to be. I killed all the attackers and talked to Frank afterwards without any problems and completed the quest.
I hope this may work for those of you who are dealing with the same problem as well.

NB: Even though there are some glitches here and there, i still love this game and i can't wait for FC3 to arrive.

I just ran into this bug , gonna try the bus or something.. really hope I can get past this issue!
