Controller STILL not working after patch

I'm using a PS2 Controller with a usb adaptor and even after patching the game it still will not work. I can't map the buttons and it won't work in game.

I even tried using the xbox360 controller emulator .dll files I use for GTA IV but that won't work either.

1 Week on and I still haven't played the game, I give up on it. I probably won't be able to return it now but I'm uninstalling anyway.

Ok so I never gave up on it, I uninstalled the drivers for my controller and just used the ones windows installs and it's working. Strange. But if anyone else has something like that it's worth trying.

Only problem is now my controller won't work in other games until I install the driver for it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif
