Just for fun, S/L 'Fanny' Barton's Tomahawk. Inspired by the further adventures of Hornet Squadron as told in 'A Good Clean Fight', Derek Robinson's sequel to 'Piece of Cake'.

Works with both IL-2 Tomahawk varients and the P-40B.

Made with Leadspitter's P-40B template.

Those books are my favorite, did u know that BBC brought out a 6 episode series called peice of cake. The screen play was done by Derek Robinson as well. I've heard good things about the series but i cant get it here in australia. All his books are good.

Yeah, got it on DVD. Pretty good budget for a mini-series to have all the Spits flying. Nice aerial shots. What I really liked was the overall attention to detail with regards to the flying kit. Mostly accurate with only a few gotchas. I shudder when I watch the '68 'Battle of Britain' movie with all the Brylcream Boys flying around wearing late war goggles and mae wests... and POST WAR helmets dummied up to look like BoB era ones.

I know, I know...

GEEK...
