Its up, a lofty 1.24 gb, heard its decent though.

I was kinda surprised they're not going with the Matt Damon face.

Thumbs up for sticking to originality, I guess.

05-05-2008, 03:04 PM
Matt Damon wouldn't let them use his likeness because, unofficially, he doesn't like games that support violence...or something like that. Though he has no problem with movies that support violence. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif There's a short article about it on Gamespot.

Thanks for the heads up, John. I shall download it immediately.

That's something along the lines of what I've heard.

The combat scheme is going to be "simple input, complex output." I guess another situation where the gamers will be crying out "dumbed down!"

Says in Game Informer that they'll be exploring his past too, before he malfunctioned. Cool http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I have to wait until Thursday <_<

Wow, I knew the game was going to be good, but its better than that. I love the fast pace and I was actually good enough to keep up with it. It was intense and I think I'll buy the game now instead of renting.

cooldude: actually that article is not true. The reason they did not really use his face is because the movie studio sold the rights without his permission ot the game studio.

From the videos I'd seen, I didn't think that the game looked very good, but I actually enjoyed the demo considerably. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Those whohave kept up the game saw the devs explain that they didnt use matt damon by choice anyways because they wanted to pull the story as close as possible from the books, and the games should have no ambition to represent the movies.

And the game was good, but they need more punching and kicking animations, the shooting was just a bit off, going into close combat with one guy as you get shot from another is annoying, and the driving is horrid.

Otherwise, great game.

I wanna try this game, but I really shouldn't. I've got three games right now that I haven't even finished but I really should before any more new games.

That's my goal this month: finish unfinshed games! Condemned 2, COD4, and Turok.

Edit: Make that four, I forgot about GTA4.

Now if I actually do that, I'll be surprised.

Anyways, looks like a decent game... I'll probably end up trying it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I thought Rockstar handled Midnight club?

05-06-2008, 12:19 PM
It does, but High Moon now employs some of the developers who started their careers at Rockstar in the Midnight Club series and have since left.

I was surprised Ace said that because Bourne Supremacy is supposed to be top notch in the driving aspect for that reason.

05-06-2008, 05:12 PM
Im talking about the driving section in the Bourne Conspiracy demo, not supremacy movie...

05-06-2008, 07:27 PM
Me too.

05-06-2008, 09:47 PM
Well, yeah, regardless, the driving in Conspiracy is laughable. I really didnt like it...

05-06-2008, 09:50 PM
Oh, wow, now I see why you got mixed up.

I've been calling it Supremacy the whole skanked time.

Stupid me. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

05-06-2008, 09:54 PM
Well regardless this isnt a driving game, the first .54 I saw the driving in gameplay I knew it would suck, didnt really care though, this is about CQC w00t!

05-06-2008, 10:17 PM
You make a good point there, mister.

I can't play the demo so I'm out of the know. Have they kept the Bourne Instinct meter?

05-08-2008, 03:33 PM
Anyone else notice how the music in the main menu sort of sounds like the music in SCDA in Iceland?

05-14-2008, 12:30 PM
the demo is still not on uk marketplace http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

05-14-2008, 08:32 PM

05-15-2008, 09:08 PM
Wish I could try it....sounds cool.

05-16-2008, 11:32 AM
Apparently the demo comes out 19th next week for UK despite Major Nelson saying it was the 8th, so not long to go. If it's anygood I'll get it otherwise I'll be getting Alone in the Dark.
