Whats indian ink? like henna?

I dont know what henna is but indian ink are the homemade tattoos,indian ink and a sowing needle jobs,you know what i'm talking about i'd say.

I saw a program on them henna tatoos, there nasty things if not done properly, some thick ppl will use a black hair die which causes the skin to burn etc.

but as for me, I dont plan on scaring my body on any type of tatoo thanks :P

Thats interesting,are they perminent like tattoos or are they a sissy tattoo that washes off.
The tattoos some people get it might be just as well they arent perminent.

I personally hate it when people get tattoos of Asian characters. If I had something like "life" or "earth" tattooed on me written in english people would think I'm an idiot. But if that was in an asian language suddenly it becomes deep and meaningful. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif Noting against asians of course, just this stupid mentality existing in the western world.

I am personally still bare skinned. I really want to get something. I have considered the sword fish of the 9th flotilla actually. There is naval history in my family as well as a heavily German back ground. A few other flotilla's also have ensigns that may spark my interest. There was the devil-like ensign that appeared in Das Boot but I can't find it on uboat.net. Was that a fictional one?

I actually dont mind the symbols too much,if somebody asks you what it means you can always change it,I dislike that weird spikey tribal stuff,not mad about weird piercing either but hey,its their body.

I too am considering getting my first tattoo in years,I'm thinking about a relgious one but i have one already,maybe a sailing ship or anchor or bird of freedom.
I really only have only might right forearm free so doing my own indian ink mermaid or nude woman is out(unless of course i trust somebody else to do it).

If you do decide to get something done make sure you have the money to get what you want done,its no good ten years down the road thinking that you should have spent the extra,
I'm still proud of all mine.

U552 has a double devil insignia,if i was to get a ubout one it would probably be the laughing swordfish or the snorting bull.

Thanks for the advice macker. If I was to get the sword fish do you think that would be best to get it filled or hollow? Black? Green?... I'm not sure, never got one before.

I once passed out during a math test and stabbed myself in the cheek with my pen. Does that count as a tatoo or do I just have a blue dot on my face?

I'd get the hollow one first,that way you can always change you mind later on.

I've only got 3 tattoos and the biggest one is about 8 inches.I have a lot of ink though,having said that there nothing you can see if the sleeves are rolled down.
The nephew has an armband and that looks ok.

BTW,there doesnt seem to be any decent designs on the internet,the only sites i've seen are some stupid"tattoo scene"site.Who cares if some ol'doll has her fanny pierced.
