Got reset to faction

Yesterday during the the Cease fire period(Xbox) I messed around and changed my faction and battalion multiple times. In the end I went to bed as Russia's 44th assault at rank 1 with no credits.

I log in today and was surprised to find every was back to the way it was. As Europe's Battlegroup 20, rank 10 and the 600,000 credits I had before the war ended.

Not that I'm complaining, since I decided to go back to Europe and didn't like the prospect of having no upgrades or veterans, but was this supposed to happen?
