OK first of all I would like to say that the BIA single player looks hotter than any WWII game I have seen out there. However I am very dissapointed with the idea of that adding a 2 vs 2 with human controlled AI as the only multi-player is obsurd. I have been reading through the forums and believe that your are onto something with "providing a sense of real squad combat using authentic fire and move tactics" however you also say "We hear gamers talk all the time about how they wish developers would innovate more, etc. But, when we do, the same gamers tend to come out and say, "What - No deathmatch?" why do you think that is?
My answer would be this, that to be truly innovative you need to add something new that the community has never seen and keep the old DM and TDM that keeps so many people playing online, I also believe that what they mean by innovate isn't to change the way online is played but to add to whats there and make DM and TDM more interesting. To ignore this is to sentence this game to an early grave as far as online play is concerned. I really believe that BIA could be the game to sink MOH and possibly COD in there graves but not as long as only 2 people are allowed to play in a server at once, I am part of a clan that has 25 members, not to metion all the other clans out there that have many more then that, what are we going to do when we want to play all human against human? Play some other game? Do you see the problem here? When the 2 vs 2 wears off everyone will go back to the trusty old games that support what we really all like, and BIA will sink into the archives never to be looked on again. Look at the game Project IGI it had great potential, however Eidos saw fit to innovate only what they liked into the game and forgot that it is the end user that makes or breaks the game. Their second attempt with IGI2 Covert Strike never made it off the ground because of this narrow minded view. I would like to see BIA come out with all the innovations that Gearbox is tryin to make but also have all of the old DM and TDM that makes a game truly online capable and popular. This is just my view.

Well I would have to agree with AnemicCrayon.
That the online FPS's being released today are not spending enough time on customer needs and views. In hopes that BIA would be just the opposite I was dicouraged to find that there will be only 2vs2 multiplayer and no other options. As long as this game has been in the works I had figured Ubi would have considered some of these issues. Being the owner of a GameServer/Hosting company We have had many +++ requests for BIA servers as soon as released and now i must explain that its not that kind of game type. With the online market growing rapidly daily, one would think UBISOFT would have wanted to make more options for this game. Well just my take on the situation. Keep On Fraggn_See Ya In The Battle

You have to be kiding me... or am I reading this wrong... 2v2 ONLY... Yes, it would create a new gametype that would get rid of those pesky run and gunners... but this is a major disappointment to all gamers that hoped to switch over to BIA after the major downfall of explansion of COD (UO)... Truly I know some people who just buy the game just for the multiplayer and not the single... Just from my business point of view I think this will be a major fallback of gamers who would of brought the game for the multiplayer...
