Patch #1 will free the camera.

Someone should make a mod that locks the camera on a controlled soldier so that the view looks like it's coming from their eyes i.e. a FPS.

not so much about the textures or so, more to be and see from ground view.
not sure why the restrictions are there.

Yeah indeed. I saw these amazing screenshots where it actually became real 3rd person view. I want that, CUZ IT ROCKS
