I can't wait for any of my local mountains to open so I can hit the slopes for real. I just got a new pair of skis. The wait is killing me http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif

Indoor halls works for me. Did some sweet spinning/boardslides/bailing on the boxes over there. Felt great. Or at least, it stops my hunger for real snow for a while. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

when do you guys expect to have snow? I live in Pennsylvania, and the earliest resorts open here is mid-December. Up in Vermont, most will open by late November. I feel a road trip coming on!

Every year (for 7 years now) i'm going skiing for 1 week in Winterberg, Germany but that's only at the end of february and it's only 1 week each year. When there's not much snow over there (like most years lately) it's almost impossible to ski.

I ski Blue Mt. about 90% of the time since I'm from Saylorsburg. That's right by Kunkletown or Brodheadsville. I get to JFBB at least once per season.

Last year I only skied Blue because my brother worked there, so i got major discounts on everything. This year, I'm going to mix it up a lot more and hit up Blue, JFBB, Cameltoe (Camelback http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif ), Elk, Hunter in NY, and possibly somewhere in VT if things work out.

My opinion of an epic VT trip would be Killington and Jay Peak in one trip. Doubt it will happen, but who knows...

Yeah, I'll be broke by march http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yeah Solden is like the most tourist visited resort in Europe. My friend is going there in December. I wanted to go too but I don't have the money so I'm going to Alps next summer.

My doctor said i shouldnt go snowboarding with my jaw wired shut but i was like screw it and i went snowboarding everyday for 2 weeks but the first week was pain and me barfing everyday about twice.......not fun. After all of this terrible experience I lost about 20 lbs.
