Also it doesn't hurt to have saints and a couple acts of god nearby if you decide to play MP...

lol my bad, but sometimes it just feel that way I guess I shouldn't of posted if I had nothing better to say. I will say however thefi5h if you do buy/or get the game running it will be an addiction for sure. I've played since demo and although there are some bugs overall I would have to say its a pretty good game regardless specially for the genre.

Minimum requirments wont run RS well at all, You will be lucky to get 25fps.
Barton 2500+ @3200+
512mb Corsair platinum 3200+ (400mhz)
gforce 4 ti4800 <-Oced but using stock coolers.
Asus A7n8x deluxe nForce2 ultra 400.
And I get a resonable play from RS, PC is there but my GFX card should be upgraded for best use of RS.
If you are running RS on a weaker PC and are not satisfied, you can downgrade RS graphics and audio etc etc, Which for online games isnt a total loss, unless you like to sightsee around a map you have visited many many times:-)
There are a lot of tweaks around..in forum to

Take the minimum requirments and double them. That should get you a system that will run this game in playable form.
That would mean
Videocard with 128MB RAM
512MB system memory
1.8GHz P4
I can't believe they recommended a 1.3GHz P4 considering P4s run slower per clock cycle than P3s or Athlons. I had trouble with an Athlon 1.2GHz running an earlier version of Raven Shield + without Punkbuster. There is absolutely no way it would be able to run Athena Sword. In Raven Shield if I turned on TeamSpeak my FPS would drop to 3FPS in a firefight. I guess recommended now means required, and required means "fool yourself into buying this game"
