Not many people playing this game?

It's been some time since I last played this game online but I noticed that there are not many people online any longer.
Or is it just me who can't see all people?

As far as Team Survival goes, I can count the regular servers on one hand.

1. SCE_Server
2. SCE_Server_01
3. Rain-X
4. Mr. Golds

but thats about it, although all of these usually have a good amount of people in it.

This patch will have to perform a miracle, to bring everyone back

We're waiting for a patch rather than playing it, the "playing" phrase has passed

Honestly.... people gave up on this game a looooooooooong time ago.. even the people who still hang out on the forums quit playing it. 90% of the people still here are here out of morbid curiosity... waiting to see what happens when the patch comes out... here's a spolier... NOTHING. if you think for even one second that this patch is going to be a miracle game saver... you're sorrily mistaken. give it up folks. people left. ubi screwed the pooch and took your money... now scrape up what little bit is left of your pride.. and move on to another game like everyone else has.. and to think you guys are talking about buying ghost recon 2....

My clan try to hostb a dedicated server with hosting company but it was so bad , it was crashing all the time.

I'd say that about sums it up. There isn't enough resources that UBI would dedicate to fully correcting this game. Especially since a lot of that would involve many content changes/additions. Im here out of curiosity, but I still have the game installed.

And you're right about GRAW2. I'm betting some of the same people that swore off UBI games since Vegas are the same ones playing the GRAW2 demo and have a wad of cash ready to buy it the moment it hits retail.

I enjoy the game, but i agree that the online play isnt as active as id like. I think software problems are the main reason why ppl are just turned off to MP. But im not swearing off the game all together, and none of u will either, lets face it. When a patch (possibly) comes out, youll all join the thousands of ppl in DLville, and the game will be revived (again IF the patch comes out). I mean who knows, the game may be half-way decent if it does. It'll definitely quell the beligerance of manyhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif

But, im not sayin that this WILL happen. Certianly if no patch comes out this game will be dead within six months.

Despite of the many bugs, I still think this is a fun en cool game to play.
And I've played about every online fps there is.....
As soon as the patch comes out, We'll host a DS 24/7..

i agree that it could have been a good game
i havent really bothered to play the game for months due to the bugs and because i hardly saw any people playing online. so i just play the new HL2:Insurgency mod

I am still playing. I love the gameplay...yeah the game is buggy but I enjoy it too much to care. I can see how the vast majority of people would get frustrated but the MP is just too much fun for me to get fed up over the bugs.

That said I am officially never buying from Ubi again.
