Your Attention Please,

Something rather peculiar has occurred. Our most recent poll records have been deleted.

Our logs indicate that all was well until around 14:00 today est. After that, all data appears to have been removed. There doesn't appear to be any evidence of unauthorized access, nor is there any indication of an external breach.

Rest assured, we will get to the bottom of this.

A. Peake

Like Mr. Peake informed us, Abstergo most recent poll was deleted from the system.
If my memory doesn't betray me, the poll was something like this:

Who is Consus?
1: Giovanni's imaginary friend
2: A Ghost
3: Giovanni's Uncle
4: A Hallucination

I don't remember at what time I saw it, but when I voted, both 1 and 4 options were around 30% with option A with a slight advantage.

Why did the poll disappear? Was because the subject was a little sensitive? Because it may be somehow connected to the PoE that we've been seeing in several memories?
And who was responsible for it? The mysterious Erudito? Abstergo itself? Or was it just a simple bug of the system?

What do you think?

It was likely deleted by Erudito, since they're trying to keep a lot of their stuff "in character," as if the game is real. Erudito mentioned at least once in Project Legacy that he would try to keep a memory you were reliving from getting into any Abstergo reports. Information on Consus might be something that is extremely important to the Assassins and would be harmful if Abstergo found out too much.

I've done research on Consus and there's not much to find. He was the Roman god of seed. Some info said that the name may have mistakenly been taken to mean "secret counsel," simply because of his name. Either of those could apply to what we've ween so far. He could be planting the seed of what is to come in 2012, or he could simply be a secret way of passing down info to the Assassins from the First Civilizaton. He's definitely real in some capacity, because the man in Bombastus' workshop saw him in addition to Giovanni, and he was actively helping Giovanni Borgia, trying to get him to side with the Assassins. He also told Giovanni what a note said even though Giovanni couldn't read, so that couldn't be a hallucination.

It seems very likely that the Divine Science story pack (should it ever actually come out) will feature more info on Bombastus. It may show what happened to the man who Giovanni met who looked at the Book and went crazy, so we may get to find out more about Consus when the new set comes out. That could have been the reason for this new poll, as a teaser on Consus. If that's true, I hope we see a few clues on what the crazy guy saw, since he said he knows how it ends.

on that book, is it safe to say it's yet another piece of Eden never mentioned before? It would appear so.

Its probably like the chalice in Altair's Chronicles, it is similar to pieces of eden but not one
