The germans must have known about allied air-sea radar in 1943 (I thought they learned about it much later). Here is an ULTRA intercept:

EXECUTION: HEAD FOR BF 8810 ( (43.39 N - 06.30 W 'A') ) OR 8820 ( (43.39 N - 06.06 'A') ).
