Logging into server...

Is anyone else having trouble logging into the multiplayer server? I get the initalizing, then it just sits on that page. I have the firewall set up correctly so this game is not being blocked. Is the server down, or did they turn it off?

I cannot connect, but I am at work (lunch) so I assume its a firewall issue with me here. I will try again tonight, but I am interested if the servers are up???

I'm having the same problem. The entire game locks up at "Initializing..." and I have to alt+tab or ctrl+esc out and force the game to close manually. I have no firewall, so that's not an issue on my end.

If you have a router, you have to open some ports.

*points at Oakwarrior who's pointing at the FAQ's". Well, that is about usless since I tried logging in with those ports open AND with my firewall turned off. It appears that for some reason some of us cannot get logged into the multi-player server after signing in. Great way to test out a Beta. Already getting my mind made up about the game before actually being able to "play" it.

Same here. I opened up all the ports both TCP and UDP. Still no luck. I'll edit this if I figure something out

Try changing your password to a shorter one. I had the same problem, because my password was longer then 16 characters.

There are more ports than those in the faq. Couldn't figured out which but the disable the firewall option works http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I have the same problem, can't connect to ubi.com . I've tried shutting off the firewall as well as allowing all those ports in the faq but still doesn't work! any further ideas?
I'm connecting through router, which I've disabled it's firewall as well

well the firewall is disabled however I'm still having the problem, here the log file which is generated by the game automatically in the game folder (the failure is coming when it tries to connect to IRC service):

still not working, I'm using windows firewall SP2 and Mcafee Enterprise and my Router is Gigaset SX541 WLAN dsl. I've tried even to deactivate both firewall from pc and from router but no success..
