View Full Version : Faded and jerky animation (Pic and Vid)

I don't know when this all started but character models in the distacne fade way too soon and as they fade their animation becomes about a frame every .7 seconds.

Anyone have any ideas?

1600x1200 no AA, 8xAF, All settings at very high

Here is a vid, notice the weird fading back and forth and the animation is also very jerky compared to the fps i get in game (get like 50 fps but character model looks like its at less than 1 fps a sec, something to do with animation)

Those mercs are just at the border of being rendered and not being rendered. I think there is a console command to increase the rendering distance. But I don't know exactly what it is. Hopefully someone will respond with the info.

Hard to tell if there fading too soon or not.
