There are some items only for sale with them, is there any way to earn them? (I'm level 34-so its not like I don't play)...Is the only way to get them is to PAY? I'm not into that, just enjoyment for free...

Yes. UbiCredits are only available for purchase right now, although we have had UbiCredit promotions and giveaways in the past.
