Ok, I updated it..but now it appears that the engine has slowed down. My FPS are now ALWAYS in the RED.
And this forum in itself was slower..when loading.
I'm going to re-install my graphics drivers just to double check.

Are we being sarcastic?

Negative, even when I tried comming to the forums before, it timed out. It's fine now..but yeah, I'm going to re-install my drivers because now the FPS is just horrible..the worst I've ever seen them.

I Couldn't get onto the forums either earlier today. My only problems since install are the following:
- Unable to play any Mission Map after Oil Refinery (Lots of comments on this)
- Spawned in the floor once on a MP map
Positives:
- NO MORE TRIGGER LAG...This was by far the worst part of the game for me...making a little noise, waiting for a tango to come out, see him peek and blast him in the face only to have my gun NOT fire and get killed...Sounds match up, and the lag from the net code must have been reduced...whatever...when i pull the trigger, my gun fires and tangos die...as it should be!
Does UBI beta test their patches at all? AAO has an ongoing group of beta testers who thouroughly test each patch before its public release. These are just regular dudes like you and me who signed up to be beta testers and they work out major bugs like the problems UBI continually has when releasing patches.

It wasn't the patch that affected your ability to get to the forum. Volkan was working on updating the Raven-shield site which probably meant that the forum was effected by his updating in some way. I also tried to get on the forum earlier before the news that patch 1.4 was said to be released. Now the forum loads just as easily as it has before.
As far as your proplems in games remember to check your settings in game after you patch as they could have been reset to default settings.

no the forums where slow because of the MySQL query load, in other words - too many users on the forums (dont forget that RvS is not the only game forum on forums.ubi.com)
