I currently have 100% of the equipment (according to the game) and have completely beaten the game, including the DLC and cannot get this achievement. i bought the collectors edition for xbox 360. any one know why???

Have you gone to the uPlay store yet? They have something you can get that gives you extra throwing knife pouches

thanks for the welcome but i have read several times that the extra pouch from uplay is not needed for the achievment.

Did you get every piece of armor and the biggest pouch?

yep. went to several black smiths and several tailors in different cities to buy all pouches and armour. and for each one it says i already own it. i even have altair's armour. and even got the uplay extra pouch. even went to the villa to double check all my armour and ita all there.
