I got the game and it would not work, kept crashing on start-up.
Downloaded the patch and still it refused to work.

I found this fix which is applied after the offical patch and it works a dream.

Bear in mind though that I'm sure UBIsoft haven't endorsed this in any way, and could potentially say that you are breaching your licence for the game by using an altered .exe file for it...

Plus, you're using this at your own risk.

When I buy a game I do expect it to work!
As the official patch does not work on my system and the fact that in the official notes state that the game has been tested with my graphic card I see nothing wrong with using an un-official patch which WORKS,

Tech boys take note.

When it don't work just complain to the tech support. You don't have to take the risk and use such a patch
