http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif Sorry guys but this is the 2nd time I have posted this problem. When playing, FB minimizes for NO http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif reason. I am not touching anything but the stick (MFFB2). When I click maximize to bring it back, I lose the "feedback" of the stick.http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gifNot impossible to live with just VERY annoying! Any help??? I'm sure it is one of the processes that are running in the background. I shut off antivirus and spyware protection.

Could be sticky keys. If you are holding down Ctrl, alt or shift key( mapped to joystick) it will trigger windows to desktop.
Go to control panel/accessibility options and check the sticky keys settings. Try disabling that.
Good Luck!

The Il2 series does not officially support the alt-tab key function. That is why you lose your ff.
Some people even lose certain randon key functions. It does seem to work for some.

Coastie, NO keys were being pressed. I was flying a FW-190 JABO mission and was #6 of the flight. Just cruising on the way to bomb target. Any ideas???

You were not talking on comms either? Push to talk mode will do it.
Anyway, very strange problem if no keys being pressed. I would say heat but that is normally a BSOD or reboot. I am really at a loss. sry.

What about joystick buttons mapped to keyboard keys in the joystick profile?

Some thoughts that might help you-
Is your joystick on a usb hub or directly into pc ? If not put it directly into pc. If you lack usb ports buy a pci card and fit this to give you more they are cheap and worthwile.
Check out your memory and heat by running memtest86 and motherboard monitor - these are free on the web and check your fans and heatsinks to make sure that they are working and not clogged with dust- take care of static when opening case make sure power is off and that you are earthed before touching components.
finally check your background processes and make sure that you are not overloaded - see link in sig to optimisation guide for more info
good luck
