Heros III HOT SEAT Glitch... anyone know what I'm talking about?

When you play Hot-seat (multiplayer) using only 1 computer, after a few months of play through a game... it will just glitch and turn off the program- sending you back to windows desktop without Heros III running.

^This has been a big issue with Heros III for me. The Hot seat is the most fun thing about the game. My friends and I love playing the game multiplayer, but if it's going to glitch every game... why bother?

So does anyone know if there was a patch or something to fix this glitch? I have hte original Heros III version. Any help would be appreciated.

I never had this problem. Try downloading the patches.

Just Load the Autosave of the game and make something different, not exactly the samo moves as you did before that or build something in some of your castles and it won't crash http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I hope this helps kyou a little.

what os are you using if it's xp then that could be the problem ... pathes are you're best shot of making it work without glitches if not there will allways be aoutosave

I'm pretty sure this was a major issue in the original Heros3... a memory leak of some kind. Was definitely fixed in one of the patches though, I'm sure you can find it somewhere online still.

no help there. I don't yet know ASM - if I did I'd disassemble the exe and fix it for 'ya!
