Half Life2 engine!

as some of you may or may not notice, this game uses the HL2 engine! so to improve performance you can use almost all the same tweaks and add a "heapsize" value to the command line of your shortcut's propertie just so that it would look like that: "C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Demo\mm.exe" -heapsize 2000000
in my case i put "2000000" cuz i have 2 gigs\ram! give it a try and see! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

well i tried it but didn't seem to improve anything for me. i do have 3 gigs of RAM tho so i don't think increasing memory would do much. maybe on a lower end machine that has a lower default heap size

the heapsize command will allow the game to maximize the amount of ram used to play the game, therefor making it run smoother and better then the default value! it helps eliminate "pauses" or "hickups" during gameplay!!!

256MB: -heapsize 128000
384MB: -heapsize 192000
512MB: -heapsize 256000
640MB: -heapsize 320000
768MB: -heapsize 384000
1024MB: -heapsize 512000
1536MB: -heapsize 768000
2048MB: -heapsize 1024000
3072MB: -heapsize 1536000
