Hi! all of you who are waiting for the second part of your pre-order. Mine just hit the door a few minutes ago. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif It was mailed out 1-day air at Ubi's expense. Not only that but they also sent me an e-mail after the first part of my order got here with their regrets at the delay in my order and a $10.00 off gift certificate at the Ubi Store. I believe that this shows that Ubi does truly care about their customers. (Oh, and although it was late arriving my Uru pre-order was bumped from 2 day air to next day air at their expense too.) Great to hear that. I'm still waiting for my preorder to be shipped (second shipping attempt after first was inexplicably aborted). It looks like it hasn't left the warehouse yet today, so my hopes of getting it this week are starting to fail. I asked them to upgrade the shipping, but given that I live in Canada, I'm not certain they will.

If Ubi knows what has happened they may very well expedite it. They really aren't bad people. Although I know many think they are.

Thank you all for the kind words. And I've already got both Futurama boxed sets that are available in my region - They Rock!

My preorder still shows no sign of shipping today, so I'm looking forward to checking on it tomorrow morning at work. Tried calling the Ubi support line tonight, but I can only stay on hold for so long before going out for dinner at my folks house. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

At least the Ubi support line has some nice music. I've heard at least a couple complete symphonies on there. Compliments to whoever DJs that particular party line... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Edit: And if my preorder still hasn't shipped by tomorrow morning, I will be asking that they either give me overnight shipping or cancel the order. As much as preordering will save me money ($30 for 10th Ann. DVDs), it's not worth all this hassle and waiting. I've basically been in a holding pattern since the first shipment went out.

Of course, the worst thing is that the warehouse is down in the States so waiting becomes the name of the game.

Actually, even if the nice people on the Ubi help lines hadn't told me that they were in Montreal, I would have guessed Quebec from their accents. Love those Quebecers - they just add so much cool diversity to a country.

I would suggest that they establish a warehouse in Quebec, preferably in the same building as their callcentre. It would be nice to chat with someone who could turn around and look to see if your package was ready to ship or not! Plus you'd avoid all those nasty charges at the border!
