I'll bet you a $ you are experiancing over heating.
I have a BFG 6800GT oc and have no problems at all.
Try opening your case, use a 12" desk top fan
abd blow it in the case.
Run it and see if your problem persists.

Hi !
I have the case side open with a 8" fan on it and my temps are 58C idle/68C flying.Which are your temperatures.

I have a stock GT,and am still experiencing freezes,requiring reboot,am on 67.02,have also tried 67.50.

try 6681..i have an average of 20-30 fps on
this settings..water=3 showgunners=1,forest=3
effects=0 on custom built missions with houndreds of objects added and 40-50 planes going crazy..Still playable.
My card score on 3DMark05 is about 4400.Lot,s of guys rich 6000-7000 with same card but insane procesors.

I flew for 20 minutes with an underclock at 350Mhz and no stutters, lags, etc. was just great but suddenly a major lag so got back to 370Mhz. Did a fresh install of everything on the PC and now is working fine although one or two stutters.
