Wow... my fear of destroyers I gained from the brits is washing off a little bit.... so when I was sneaking into a harbour to take a picture and I noticed a tiny task force coming up behind me to go into the harbour I decided to get stupid and go charging in.

"Don't get cocky kid!" and I said "Shush Han!" and completly gave up any pretense of stealth, moving around as fast as I could , swinging by bigger cruisers and getting the destroyers togo crashing into them... chasing after fleeing things I'de hit...
eventually it kind of left me with a slight cheesey feeling despite my rabid gleeful cackles.

I think after I finish this patrol I'm going to finaly get around to putting on Trigger Maru :P

I actually got a fuso battleship and a Kongo battleship heading home. I would have gotten another heavy cruiser but I had 2 duds on that one!! Finaly made it home to australia on fumes , I wasn't expecting to lose JAva. No more base or coffee =(

And I had a huge gaping hole in the side of my boat from some land based guns I think. I was going through some straights and all of a suddon BANG! I never saw where it came from .

Excellent work!

Yeah the shore batteries can be lethal, and unseen, in the western area of the Java Sea. I had one do severe damage to me a while back on my return to Freemantle.

A pity we cannot return their fire.
