hi guys. Just thought i'd share the following

I've been having a lot of game crashes lately. Blue screen and PC reboot. always during online play ( whether host or just joining a server)

Upon reboot problem reported to MS and usually came up with device driver or similar.

Latest batch of crashes came up with RAM issues.
Despite my PC working fine with everything else it started to crash more and more.

So i followed the MS web site advice and downloaed the free memtest at
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

It's actually an ISO file that you burn a bootable CD with.
It boots the PC into a looping memtest patern.

It found 2 faults !!!! ( my PC was still working fine with everything else)

So i replaced the RAM and all my troubles are gone !!!! It would appear that the R6V2 game is very demanding on my system ( no surprise) and very intolerant of even minor problems.

Just thought i'd post this to share what has been a very frustrating 2 months of R6VS- PC issues.

The mem test is free and always worth running if only to check.

Good luck

I think what bigphilsing is saying is the memory test is an ISO file that you burn to a CD and is bootable!
You would boot from the CD to run the mem test.

It has nothing to do with the game .. it only tests your memory!

Memory can cause many problems in Vegas 2 .. or maybe the other way around!
