Hey guys, this isn't SHIII related but i'm curious. I saw a game (NHL 2007) the other day and the min specs stated that you needed an AGP video card with 64mgs. It also said that minimum card was an ATI 8600. HOwever I have a PCI ATI 9250, 128mg card.

Does it really need to be an AGP card?

Thanks.

On the official game page, you have a 'Can you run it' link that will test your PC and tell you if you hardware meets the game requirements:

thanks, guess I should have actually done some research rather than just relying on other people.

Though to be honest I was more curious about the whole AGP and PCI thing....

PCI is the successor to AGP. I would imagine that a PCI card with 128 MB of video RAM to be more than capable of handling that game.

That would be PCI-E would it not? AGP came after the original PCI.

D'oh, of course http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif PCIe! My mind fixated on the PCI part. I had one system with AGP, then when PCIe came out I purchased two newer systems with PCIe. Sorry for the misinformation.
