Joystick rudder not working.

I have the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick and just got this game. I did the takeoff tutorial and when it asked me to turn onto the runway I had to use the keyboard since the joystick rudder wasn't working. How can I fix this?

go into the games options/ input menu
select your stick from the list
flip switch to axes
highlight rudder
clear whatever is mapped there
re map it
