I suggest u to advance strike his castle. U must have already 'instant travel ' spell. So there is no problem to cross the gate. Lazlo is 'imprisoned' by phoenix. He can't pass this 'phoenix' guard. If u advance, u can pass this scenario easily. Don't wait to accumulate your armies, because lazlo has 2 castles, so his armies always bigger than yours except u found tears of asha.
