All,
I have a request. I've searched Flying Legends and I've DL'd some very good skins featuring the JG52. However not a single skin list depicts any Bf or Me 109s flown by Gunther Rall. Does anyone have a line where I can find any skins of this famous pilot? Thank you.

The problem with Rall is that there is only one colour profile of a Bf 109 for him - a G-2. His later aircraft are somewhat elusive and I haven't seen a full pic of one of them. All I saw so far are cockpit shots or pics of parts of the plane (e.g. the tail).

Elusive yes....ran a quick check if I could find something later than a G-2.
Checked in "Günter Rall a memoir" by Jill Amadio:
I found pictures of a G-6 from starboard front quarter on page 115 said to be "Russia 1941" but i suspect it is the same a/c as on p.175,177 celebrating his 250th victory 28.11.1943.(Hardly a G-6 in 1941!!!)
Nose port side G-6 from 200th victory 29.8.1943
on page 164
Spinner from front P157 same a/c.
Not possible to make out the complete a/c skins from these photographs even if the shots from the 250th victory gives a fair idea of what that a/c looked like.
Always something.....

I have a profile of a G-2 marked as 'Chevron Red 2' perporting to be Rall's aircraft from May 43 together with a photo of Rall shaking hands in front of just such a marked plane-but the question remains is it HIS plane.
I also have two different scale modellers Rall G-6s with Gruppenkommandeur markings but no photograph to back them up.
I have a IL-2 skin of Rall's G-2, Black 13 and a skin of the G-6 in Gruppenkommander markings but sadly cannot remember where I got them.
Cheers
Chris

I have found only a small number of profiles and illustrations (no actual photographs). As for the aircraft type, markings and accuracy, I'll let the experts sort that one out.
F19 Gladiator has replied to a number of my inquiry's and would be an excellent source of informtion. If he has anything I'm sure he will pass it on.
The images are:

And a painting:

You've probably already seen these. As for available skins and ones for JG52 I'm not sure, you may wish to have a look at Cpt Farrels site some time. Someone like CanonUK is also a good place to look also. Both produce excellent work.
This doesn't get you any skins. Hopefully it will help out in some way though.

Just this week I've finally managed to finish my Bf109F and G-2 template. If you like I'll take a shot at this Rall person, but I can't do the G-6 or later yet, as I still have to do the panellines etc for those.
Also, which of the pictures you posted do you want reproduced?
Anyway, this is a picture of a generic JG52 finish I made up.

Has anyone got a line on the Bf-109E and Bf-109F versions?

No F yet. Only found a photo of him climbing out of a "Bf109E, Yellow 4, with yellow nose". Photo covering only part of fuselage near the cockpit and part of the nose port side.
