Interesting thesis. Since players were limited to uniplanar movement, I would be interested in how the interface could incorporate pitch and roll, using foot markers for the former and another axis of wrist-chest LEDs for the latter.

thanks! we did one control schema that more closely matched the cloud boy's movements, but found that it faitgued the player too much, which is why we went with the more simple "arms up and down" scheme.
