Calling all ESPN Football 2k4 legends....HELP !!

Yeah yeah i know, i should get 2K5, but i'm working on it..

Here's the thing. I'm usually a pretty good player at this game especially with the Patriots..

But lately my brother has been playing frick'n cheaply with the Eagles..I CAN'T BEAT THIS FREAK'N TEAM !!..

He only uses 4 offensive plays and only uses 2 receivers (Owens and Pinkston), He either a) throws to the flats b) throws down the middle to Owens or Pinkston c) Scrambles..

I've shut down the flats but what he does is CONSTANTLY throw down the frick'n middle AND I CAN'T STOP IT..he succeeds time and time again no matter if i'm using man-to-man or zone coverage..

I use zone coverage to block passes down the middle BUT IT NEVER WORKS..screw Owens and Pinkston..!!

Here's what really pees me off. I constantly force him into 3rd down situations, whether it be 3rd and 4 or 3rd and 25..HE JUST HOOFS it and someone ALWAYS CATCHES IT..(why is Owens a god in this game ??)

HELP, I need tips on what D plays to run against his cheap offence...tips in general for this game would be awesome..

if hes gonna pass.use some blitzes.my brother does that to ppl online and make them rush the pass and either the reciever doesnt catch it or a interception.dont put like major blitzes like at least 2 men will be open tho.

but jus do some heavy blitzes.that is my only suggestion.

Screw my brother, I just lost 2 close games..

35-38 and 38-45....**** IT !!..and in the second game i had a 18 point lead going into the second half and he scored 21 unanswered points to win...**** !!....HELP PLEASE..

Play 3-4. Zone coverage. Set your DB's back, and bring your LB's in. That way, the LB's got short passes, the DB got long plays.

sometimes that dont work.my other suggestion is u double team owens and pinkston.

Hmmm..I'm not very fond of the 3-4...but man coverage is definetly not an option against his cheapness..

ok,u playin with the patriots.put your fastest CB's on owens and pinkston.dont worry about skill.look at your CB's speed and put the fastest CB on pinkston.bcuz pinkston is faster than owens.then put your second best CB on owens.if they have speed.wen mcnabb passes the ball the CB's will keep up with them.and swat the ball or intercept.
