Hey all. I just finally watched Thumbsucker, and I have to say it was one of my favorite tiny budget movies. Maybe I am slanted because it was partially filmed in the town I grew up in (Representing Beaverton Y'all) 2 specific Pac moments made it badass for me:
#1- the mall that the Mom and Kid are walking through in the beginning is the Mall I worked at throught HS. (that would be Washington Square, Nordstrom to the left, Newport bay to the right...)
#2- the dentist office that the 3rd itteration of Keanu Reeves works at at the end of the flick is Dr. Clark's office, the dentist I went to during my grade school years. I can still smell the "Highlights: for Children" magazines in the lobby...
Outside of that, it was just a friggen fantastic exploration of what makes us unique and individual and all that touchy feely stuff.
